Weighted Sand Turtles have been designed and developed by combining the skills of village cooperatives and disability workshops in Australasia and South East Asia. Farming communities are engaged in the production to supplement their seasonal income. Fair trade practices are employed. These are handmade and will therefore vary slightly in size and detail weighing approximately 900 grams.
Weighted input helps many children calm when they are trying to self regulate. A good toy to take along to what might be stressful situations, dinner in a restaurant, doctors visits or even on the lap to help them remain at the dinner table.
